The ‘Golden Triangle’ is merely the starting point for this exotic adventure. Throughout the tour, we take you off the beaten track to little-known places where the architecture of great beauty and engineering feat present themselves, villages of artisans (pottery, weaving, block printing, silver jewellery making etc.) enthral you and the sand dunes of Rajasthan embraces you.

Day 1, 2 & 3 – Delhi

We will receive you at the Delhi International airport and take you to the hotel. Delhi is the architectural gem of India and we will explore the old city on a cycle rickshaw to take it all in. Historically a Mughlai stronghold, we will not miss their delicious cuisine.

Day 4 – Agra

Now what you have acclimatised, we will roll on over to Agra – the home of the exquisite Taj Mahal. Those who would like to, can attend a Bollywood style show enacting the story of Shah Jahan & Mumtaz to give a rich background to the Taj Mahal or just relax in the pool and sip a cool drink or two.

Day 5, 6 & 7 – Jaipur

After a very early morning visit of the Taj Mahal, we will make our way to Jaipur – The Pink City of India. We will stop at several unique places of interest along the way. Rajasthan has more to offer than just amazing forts and palaces, so we will explore rural Rajasthan, where artisans bring art and music to life.

Day 8, 9 & 10 – Bikaner

Bikaner retains the medieval grandeur of the past. Dotted with scores of sand dunes, it sure is something different. Beautiful havelies line the streets for all to enjoy the intricate and ornate hand work. We will venture out further to explore leather craft, tie & die, hand spinning, embroidery and weaving. Sweets and snacks of Bikaner are mouth-watering.

Day 11 & 12 – Jaiselmer

Stayed in a desert camp before? You will here! You will also get to experience a camel safari through the desert villages. Meet the villagers, the local craftsmen and enjoy folk singing and folk dance.

Day 13 & 14 – Jodhpur

Enthralled by the beautiful forts and temple architecture, we will also get to enjoy visiting a village where people, animals, plants and trees live in harmony since the 15th century.

Day 15, 16 & 17 – Udaipur

We will spend our final two days in Rajasthan in an organic farm near the Arravali hills. Kick back and relax in the sun or go for a ride!

Day 18 – Ahmedabad

After a leisurely start in the morning, we will drive over to Ahmedabad, Gujarat to drop off the guests who are flying out of India at the Ahmedabad International Airport and bid them ‘Bon Voyage’.

The guests who are booked on our ‘Essence of Kerala & Tamil Nadu’ tour will join us on the trip down south!
