This video is just a glimpse of a fantastic experience at one of the temple festivals of Kerala, in South India. Karthigai Deepam festival coincides with the full moon day in the month of Karthikai (Nov-Dec).
I have tried to capture the essence of the celebration & the rituals performed at the temple grounds, but to feel the vibe one has to be in the midst of this massive crowd of devotees, musicians, priests and of course the very gentle giants – elephants!
